Prescription Drug Insurance Information

Student Health Services Pharmacy needs your new prescription drug insurance information

If you intend to use the Illinois State University Health Services pharmacy, we need a current copy of your prescription drug card. Prescription drug cards (prescription insurance) are renewed annually and this is usually in January. Our pharmacy accepts many prescription insurance plans.

To decrease the amount of time you wait for prescriptions to be processed, and to ensure you receive the maximum benefits from your prescription coverage:

a. Be sure our pharmacy has a copy of your CURRENT prescription drug card before your prescription is filled.

b. If you are covered under your parent’s insurance, you may be required to send proof of your student status to the insurance company each semester to continue your coverage.

c. Note - ISU Student Insurance does not cover prescriptions.

A copy of the front and back of your prescription card may be faxed or mailed to the ISU pharmacy. Please include the student’s name and birthdate.
