HPV VACCINE AT SHS

The HPV vaccine (Gardasil) is recommended for girls and women 11-26 years of age. It is given in a series of 3 injections over a 6 month period.

The HPV vaccine is available at Student Health Services.  (Cost is currently $140 plus $5 front door fee per injection). 

Students may be able to receive financial assistance through other agencies.  Therefore, students are encouraged to check with the following before receiving their vaccine:

If unable to receive financial assistance through the above agencies, students 19 years of age and older may qualify for Merck financial assistance.  Currently, the Student Health Service Preventive Medicine Clinic has Merck rebate forms available.  (See the Patient Rebate Program for GARDASIL Terms and Conditions.)  Students may receive out-of-pocket cost over $30 for a possible maximum rebate of $130 per dose.  The form gives instructions for completion which includes:
