Who is eligible to use the Health Service on campus?

Students registered for at least one credit hour have been assessed a Health Service fee with tuition and are eligible for medical services.

Enrolled students may purchase access for a spouse or domestic partner by paying an optional fee. Spring semester students who do not plan to attend summer session classes may obtain services by paying an optional summer fee.

I’m graduating. Can I continue to use the Student Health Service?

Eligible graduates may continue to use the Student Health Service for one additional semester or summer session by paying the optional health fee prior to the first day of the upcoming semester.

Will my entire visit be covered by the health fee that’s included with my tuition?

Most medical services are provided at no additional cost. Some exceptions are visits to the psychiatrist, prescriptions, tests sent to a reference lab, crutches, and ankle wraps.

I have a bill from Student Accounts for Health Service charges. I thought this would be turned over to my insurance.

We do not automatically bill insurance or Medicaid. You can call or stop by the Business Office for an itemized bill suitable for filing insurance claims.

What if I don’t have any cash today?

Your student account can be billed or you may pay by major credit card.

I’m taking an internet or extension class. Can I use the Student Health Service?

These courses do not automatically assess a health fee. However, you can elect to pay an optional health fee. For more information, please contact the Business Office at (309) 438-8793.

My registration is blocked by the Student Health Service.

This is probably due to incomplete immunization records or requirements. Phone (309) 438-8793 or (309) 438-8560 and we will tell you what is needed to remove the block.

I’m a Lincoln College Student. Can I use the Student Health Service?

Yes. Prior to making an appointment, you must pay the semester fee to the Lincoln College Business Office. Charges may be paid by check, cash or major credit card.
